I mean, to present a completely accurate cartoony representation of myself I’d have to lighten the hair color and make the beard scruffier — but you get the basic idea and if you’re going to nail me for minor shit like that then you’re really not in the market for cartoony avatars at all as far as I’m concerned. I don’t think you look like that at alll.. you’re much cuters and less gruffy looking… *rowr* I love that people are starting picture wednesdays because it gives me more of Topher… Seriously, you should make a real avatar…

A great thing about Soup is that I could take any cartoony avatar that he painstakingly takes the time to create for himself and pass it off as my own. Thanks for the kind words. I presume you’re making fun of me, but I’m still honored you would spend this much time on it.

But this is exactly the type of thing that makes the upcoming Pro features seem really useful. I’ve had one group not work out exactly like I expected, and I currently moderate a lot of content for three other sites. With open but moderated submissions, this person could participate and either get published or deleted, no muss no fuss. That’s something I’d never try right now with something like nwsppr.
